WE had the opposite of ‘Mo snow” we had snow snow snow (not me, the others) because Dain wanted to stay home form school and Daiga wanted to stay home from school and that meant I had to stay home from school and try to get work done? but, we had a blast sledding on our notorious hills and many cold wet snowball fights. My wife once explained to me that talking, the kind of chatting you describe that results from commonly asked questions, when that talking emanates from a female spousal unit (as my daughter likes to say), is a kind of foreplay, or rather, it’s a kind of connecting that is necessary if said spoousal unit can be expected to respond favorably, if not now then soon, to inquiries about amor.
